Professor James Shackleford received an NSF CAREER Award for his project "Low Latency, Parallel, and Context Aware Vision in Computed Tomography" while Professor Matthew Stamm received an NSF CAREER Award for his projects relating to multimedia forensics, a new class of security techniques that determine where an image of video originated and if it has been altered or falsified.
