First-Year Recommended Requirements
Requirements for admission to the College of Engineering are one year of physics with a lab, one year of chemistry with a lab, and four years of mathematics (algebra I, algebra II, geometry/trigonometry, and pre-calculus).
If you have taken AP exams and have earned a score of four and above, you may be able to receive course credit. A score of five is needed to receive credit for either of the two AP Physics exams. For more information about transferring AP exam credit or other college credits, please contact the College of Engineering Undergraduate Advising Center.
First-Year Application Instructions and Deadlines
The College of Engineering uses both the Common Application and the Coalition Application. The application materials deadline for Early Decision and Early Action has been extended to November 15. The deadline for Regular Decision application materials is January 15.
The University Admissions Office will provide information on the process, co-op, tuition, changes or extensions to deadlines, exceptions and more details.
