Welcome to the Engineering Management (EGMT) Program at Drexel University. Founded in 1959 as the nation’s first graduate degree in this field, we maintain a proud history of thought leadership and a reputation as a world-class program. Ranked #3 according to U.S. World News and Report, graduates are prepared to manage and lead organizations in an innovative, ethical and cost-effective manner.

Our goal is to develop tomorrow’s engineering leaders by leveraging our strong relationships with industry and our continuous to building of industry-based partnerships. Our deep ties to the field are channeled through our accomplished and diverse faculty from both academia and industry, boasting significant experience with engineering applications across commercial and defense industries. This translates to a program curriculum that develops and refines the technical, business and leadership skills that engineers and scientists need to compete successfully in the global marketplace. It specializes in preparing professionals to take on supervisory responsibilities in areas such as research and development, production, engineering design and technical marketing.

The program is flexible, with both online and face-to-face options, and can be tailored to your specific needs and to your fields of interest — whether you’re a working professional or a full-time student.

The Master’s in Engineering Management is certified by the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM), one of just six graduate programs in the United States to receive this distinction. The certification permits graduates to bypass the examination for the Professional Engineering Manager (PEM), allowing them to receive the advantage of this credentialing automatically.

Thank you for your interest. I encourage you to apply to our program and let us be a part of your academic journey and success at Drexel University.
