CHE I799 Graduate Independent Study.
May be taken if the student desires to conduct research.
Student must find a faculty advisor willing to sponsor a research project.
CHE I799 may be taken to fulfill graduate technical elective credits.
There must however be a total of at least 9 credits of graduate technical electives that are
not
CHE I799.

must be submitted to the Department Undergraduate Advisor at
amf369@drexel.edu
in order to create a course section for the student.
Master’s Thesis
CHE 898 Master’s Thesis.
May be taken if the student desires to conduct research that leads to a formal thesis.
Student must find a faculty advisor willing to sponsor an MS thesis.
Student is required to complete a written thesis detailing the entire MS project, including background, methods, results, discussion, conclusions, and bibliography. The
Drexel Library
provides information on thesis format and guidelines on thesis submission.
Student is required to give a formal defense of the thesis to the thesis committee. The thesis committee must contain a minimum of three members (inclusive of student’s MS research advisor), and the MS research advisor will act as the committee chair. The student is responsible for scheduling the defense.
