GAANN Fellowship
Chemical & Biological Engineering
We invite you to apply for the GAANN Fellowship to pursue a PhD degree in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Drexel University in the areas of Energy and the Environment. You will receive:
- yearly stipend up to US$34,000
- full tuition support
- training in STEM teaching
- Ph.D. in energy-focused research
You will be able to work with highly engaged faculty that includes 10 NSF CAREER and PECASE awardees, and choose from a broad range of research topics in energy and the environment:
- organic, perovskite photovoltaics
- batteries, supercapacitors
- alernative fuels
- catalysis, electrochemistry
The GAANN Fellowship is supported by the U.S. Department of Education to provide Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need. For this program, you need to meet the following:
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- excellent academic record
- demonstrate financial need
- enrolled in or accepted to our Ph.D. program
