Peggy Burns

Peggy Burns is a member of the leadership team within Transportation Solutions in the Civil Group of Leidos, focused on Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Transportation programs and pursuits. Previously, Peggy was the chief engineer of transportation for the Public Sector of Conduent (previously Xerox Corporation), leading development, deployment, and operations of electronic tolling, transit fare collection and fleet management, and parking and traffic enforcement solutions. Ms. Burns worked the majority of her career at Lockheed Martin Corporation, where she held roles in engineering and management. Key roles included vice president of engineering and program manager for the Global Positioning System control segment. Throughout her career, Ms. Burns has enjoyed being a mentor and instructor of leadership and program management courses. In 2009, she was inducted into the Drexel 100, and in 2011, she was inducted into the College of Engineering Alumni Circle of Distinction. Ms. Burns currently serves on the Drexel University President's Leadership Council and is chair of the Drexel Engineering Dean's Executive Advisory Council.
