Ms. Alston is director of environment, health and safety (EHS) for Comcast, an American global telecommunications conglomerate. In this role, she is responsible for EHS leadership and developing strategies to reduce EHS risks through effective sustainable EHS management practices to derive business value. Prior to Comcast, she was a senior director, environment, health and safety at Endo Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a pharmaceutical company that provides drug treatments for pain management, pelvic health, urology, endocrinology and oncology, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania. In this capacity, she was responsible for providing global environment, health and safety (EHS) leadership, creating a centralized EHS function and establishing an EHS and sustainability vision, strategy and roadmap for aligned execution across the separate operating units. Before joining Endo Pharmaceuticals, Ms. Alston worked as senior director, environment, health and safety at Kellogg Company as well as the director, environment, health and safety for Eaton Corporation and GlaxoSmithKline. At one time, she lived in Brussels and Montreal for work. 

She served as President (2016-2018) of the Chester County PA chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., an African American membership organization of mothers with children ages 2-19, dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders.

At Drexel, she received the Alumni Circle of Distinction, College of Engineering in 2018. She is a member of the Drexel Black Alumni Council - Alumni Association, and was a member of Drexel Society of Women Engineers, Mentor.
