David G. DeCampli

Mr. DeCampli retired as the global chief compliance officer from PPL Corporation, at that time, a distributor of electricity to 10 million customers in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and the United Kingdom. It operated through regulated subsidiaries including PPL Electric Utilities, two utilities in Kentucky, and Western Power Distribution Holdings in the UK. Mr. DeCampli had overall responsibility of ensuring that PPL maintained an effective enterprise-wide ethics and compliance program in an ever-evolving and increasingly complex regulatory and enforcement environment.

Prior to becoming the global chief compliance officer, Mr. DeCampli served as the chief transition officer (2014-2015) for PPL. He led the transition team up to and following the spinoff of PPL's competitive generation business into a new, publicly traded independent company, Talen Energy Corporation. The spinoff was completed on June 1, 2015. He previously served as president of PPL Energy Supply and PPL Generation, where he was responsible for the company's merchant generating facilities owned by PPL Generation as well as the energy marketing and trading operations of PPL EnergyPlus. He also served as president of PPL Electric Utilities Corporation, PPL's Pennsylvania regulated electric delivery company. Under his leadership, PPL Electric Utilities successfully transitioned to a competitive retail choice market, launched a broad array of energy efficiency and conservation programs, and prepared financially and operationally for significantly increased capital investment to proactively address aging infrastructure and maintain high levels of reliability for customers. Mr. DeCampli joined PPL Electric Utilities as senior vice president of transmission and distribution operations and engineering in 2006. Prior to PPL, he was vice president of asset management for Exelon Energy Delivery, where he was responsible for system planning, investment strategy and operational performance for both PECO Energy in Philadelphia and Commonwealth Edison in Chicago. He also held positions as VP, Operations with ComEd, vice president – engineering and technical strategy with Exelon and VP, Gas and Electric Operations with PECO Energy. Earlier in his career, he held several positions with increasing responsibility in engineering, electric operations and customer service.

At Drexel, Mr. DeCampli is a past member of the President's Energy and the Environment Council and is a member of the Drexel Legacy Society. In addition to his Drexel degree, he has a master's in Organizational Dynamics from University of Pennsylvania.
