Mr. Pennoni serves as regional vice president and principal-in-charge of construction engineering services at Pennoni Associates Inc. He joined Pennoni in 1994 and has over 25 years of engineering-related experience that includes civil engineering design; construction management; construction engineering inspection; materials inspection and testing; and materials consulting. Prior to joining Pennoni Associates, Mr. Pennoni was a project engineer at Keating Building Corporation from 1991 to 1994.
In addition to his role at Pennoni, he served on the Board of the Central Delaware County Authority, the Nether Providence Township Parks Commission, and the Board of Nether Swarthmore Baseball. He has been an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), including Vice Chair it’s Government Affairs Committee for ACEC/PA and Secretary/Treasurer for the ACEC Geoprofessional Coalition. Mr. Pennoni serves on the board for the March of Dimes annual TB&C Awards Luncheon. He has also participated on multiple quality committees with various departments of transportation and FHWA for more than 20 years, including the Mid-Atlantic QAW, SCEF, PCEF and NSBA.
In 2018, he received the Special Distinction Award from the Drexel University Alumni Association, and in 2014, he was nominated by Drexel and inducted in to the Hall of Fame of the World Association for Cooperative Education. In addition to serving on Drexel's College of Engineering Dean's Advisory Council, Mr. Pennoni serves on the President's Leadership Council and Athletic Director’s Leadership Circle.
