The Drexel College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) is proud to announce its strong participation at the ACM SIGCHI Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work & Social Computing (CSCW) 2025.
Nineteen authors, representing CCI information science and computer science faculty, students and alumni, and students from Drexel College of Medicine and Westphal College of Media Arts and Design, will showcase 10 research papers, two posters, and one Special Interest Group panel between October 18 and 22 in Bergen, Norway. Additional CCI associates served on conference committees.
"This is by far our biggest year at CSCW and largest presence at the conference, reflecting our excellence in CSCW research and commitment to growth in this area," said Aleksandra Sarcevic, PhD, Professor of Information Science and CCI Interim Associate Dean for Research Development.
Accepted research papers are published in the Proceedings of the ACM on Human-Computer Interaction (PACM HCI) journal, with contributors invited to present at the conference. ACM CSCW is widely recognized as the leading venue for human-centered research in the design, use and evaluation of technologies that support or affect social, cooperative and collaborative practices in groups, organizations, communities and networks.
