CCI Students Explore Aging Science Through CNHP Program

Two College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) undergraduate students were recently recognized as inaugural scholars in the Drexel College of Nursing and Health Professions’ (CNHP) first cohort of DREAM Scholars.

The DREAM program, focused on health disparities, aging science and mentorship, offers undergraduates hands-on experience and training to diversify the research workforce. CNHP held an end-of-program lunch on Sept. 18 where participants showcased their research and achievements, among them Joseph Luisi, software engineering ’27, and Meng Wang, computer science ’28, from CCI, both mentored in the program by Rose Ann DiMaria-Ghalili, PhD, RN, professor and senior associate dean for research; interim associate vice provost for research & innovation; Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions.
