Join Drexel alum Amber DeRosa (BS '02, MS 04), Senior Manager of Accessibility at Vanguard, for an introduction to digital accessibility in organizations. This session highlights why accessibility matters, who is impacted, and how simple design choices can make digital experiences better for everyone. Learn about key accessibility standards, common challenges, and how emerging technologies like AI are shaping the future.

Bio:
Amber DeRosa is Senior Manager of Accessibility and Marketing Operations at Vanguard, where she leads enterprise-wide efforts to make digital experiences inclusive for all clients. A Drexel University alum with a Bachelor's and Master's in Information Science and Technology, Amber founded the Accessibility department at Vanguard in 2016—a department dedicated to ensuring that all Vanguard clients and employees have equal access to the company’s resources and services. In 2008, Amber was a user experience researcher with a passion for inclusion, which sparked the grassroots movement that grew into today’s Accessibility department and a core part of Vanguard’s culture.
