Biography
Dr. Nitecki's primary research interests focus on library metrics and use in management, library as place, and academic library service models. She retires from Drexel University as Dean of Libraries (effective Jan. 1, 2025) and taught in areas related to academic libraries services, research methods and management. Dr. Nitecki's professional experience includes administrative positions in large academic research libraries, publishing, teaching in both classroom settings as well as online professional development programs. Prior to coming to Drexel, Dr. Nitecki held administrative positions in libraries of the Universities of Tennessee, Illinois, Maryland and Yale. Prior teaching experiences include graduate courses in library research methods and evaluation at universities in the US and Parma, Italy, and professional online series through ARL.
