Project Review and QA
Clients should expect a content freeze two weeks prior to the projected launch date. This signifies that all work on the project is 100% complete and ready for review by University Marketing & Communications.
Review Criteria
- Editorial Style and Branding guidelines
- Web Accessibility – WCAG 2.1 (or latest equivalent)
- SEO Metadata/ Redirects
- General Content – HTML validation, no remaining placeholder content
University Marketing & Communications Responsibilities
UMAC will complete the review of a site one week from the content freeze to allow the client at least one week of revision following feedback. For larger sites a longer review and revision period is suggested. Significant accessibility/editorial issues or lack of complete content must be addressed before a site will be approved for launch. Any delay/extension of the content freeze or review period will affect the launch date.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for any revisions required by the final review. UMAC will work with the client to identify what revisions are required for launch.
