Ishani Doddupla
HOP CO-CHAIR (PHL)

Ishani is an M2 from Pleasant Hill, California. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2025 with double majors in molecular and cell biology and integrative biology, as well as a minor in global public health. As someone who moved across the country for medical school, she recognizes the importance and value of building community. One of her goals is to give back to the city that has and will continue to support her. Volunteering with HOP has allowed her to advocate and support patients, and as co-chair, Ishani is eager to see how much impact HOP can have in the Greater Philadelphia community.

Morgan Labadini
HOP CO-CHAIR (PHL)

Morgan is an M2 from Concord, Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Richmond in 2024 with a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. Between her undergraduate education and medical school, she worked as a urology medical assistant in Boston, serving a diverse urban patient population, and that work propelled her desire to continue supporting vulnerable populations in Philly. Throughout her first year at Drexel, she had incredible experiences with HOP, forming connections with community members and fellow students. As co-chair, she is excited to expand HOP's impact in Philadelphia, support a broad range of community members and collaborate with her peers to advance our wonderful clinics and projects.

Mallory Leff
HOP CO-CHAIR (WR)

Mallory is an M2 from Seattle, Washington. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Through her experience volunteering as a peer crisis counselor, she developed a passion for supporting and advocating for vulnerable populations. She is committed to improving health care access and strengthening partnerships with community organizations throughout Berks County. In her free time, Mallory enjoys playing lacrosse and tennis, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her dog.

James Kim
HOP CO-CHAIR (WR)

James is an M2 at the College of Medicine at Tower Health in West Reading. Originally from Lexington, Massachusetts, he graduated from Tufts University in 2025 with a major in biology and minors in chemistry and entrepreneurship. Before pursuing medicine, James spent much of his childhood and high school years as a classically trained pianist, performing extensively and training at a pre-professional level. He combined his passion for music with a commitment to service through his nonprofit initiative, Music for the People, where he organized and performed community concerts that brought live music to individuals who might not otherwise have access to it. These experiences shaped his understanding of service, human connection and meeting people where they are — values that ultimately guided his transition into medicine. As co-chair of the Health Outreach Project, James is excited to build on this foundation by working with students and community partners to expand outreach efforts and improve access to care for underserved populations throughout Berks County.

Lauren Kole
SECRETARY (PHL)

Lauren is an M2 from Andover, Massachusetts. She graduated from Tufts University with a double major in biology and music. She is excited to serve as secretary of the Health Outreach Project and collaborate with her classmates to support Philadelphia communities, promote health equity and help HOP continue making a meaningful impact across the city. In her free time, she enjoys singing in choir, seeing new movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Amith Jagannath
TREASURER (PHL)

Amith Jagannath is an M2 who graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science. He chose to get involved with HOP to help expand access to compassionate, high-quality care for underserved communities, particularly for patients who face barriers to preventive and chronic disease care.

Astha Rohit
TREASURER (WR)

Astha is an M2 from Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from Arizona State University in 2023 with a degree in biological sciences (biomedical sciences). Due to her past work in Asian American and Pacific Islander women's health and medical accessibility, she is passionate about ensuring equitable healthcare for all and optimizing patient quality of life. Astha is excited to work with HOP in Philadelphia and West Reading to continue their profound impact on these communities.
