Alice He is a second-year medical student from San Francisco Bay Area, California. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with majors in molecular and cellular biology, and medicine, science and the humanities. After college, Alice worked at Oak Street Health, a primary care clinic for Medicare patients in underserved communities in Philadelphia. After engaging with patients of various backgrounds and from different communities throughout Philadelphia, she was enthused to participate in HOP to continue making connections with the variety of populations she has met. Through the midst of countless hours of studying, HOP has served as a reminder of why she decided to enter the field of medicine -- to serve her community and to provide people with the care that they deserve. She is constantly inspired by the people who work tirelessly and endlessly to make HOP happen, and she is excited to be part of the cohort to help HOP grow! In her free time, Alice enjoys weightlifting, exploring new restaurants, and discovering new city and landscape views.
