Joyce joined Drexel’s Lynn Yeakel Institute for Women’s Health and Leadership in 2017, where she oversaw program development and coalition-building for Vision 2020 and VisionForward. In her role as associate director of communications and coalitions, Joyce is responsible for relationship-building and developing communication strategies for ELAM/ELH, Continuing Education, and Behavioral Healthcare Education.

Before joining the Drexel community, Joyce lived in New York City, where she held administrative positions at Barnard College, The Masters School, and The City College of New York. She holds a BS in speech communication from Millersville University, and an MA in student affairs in higher education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Joyce lives in Asbury Park, N.J., with her wife and their two dogs.

The Institute continues the legacy of advancing women in medicine that began in 1850 with the founding of the Female Medical College of Pennsylvania, the nation's first women's medical school and a predecessor of today's Drexel University College of Medicine.
