For Partners: Support and Membership
Women bring a unique and much needed perspective to the world of academic health care. However, while the proportion of women in academic leadership positions has increased over the last 10 years, they continue to be severely underrepresented overall at the upper levels of administration.
And ELAM is making a difference!
When you give your financial support to the ELAM program, you play a vital role in our educational programs, research, publications, and support of alumnae and their institutions in our collective efforts to advance women in academia.
There are numerous ways YOU can support the ELAM mission.

ELAM is a core program of the Institute for Women's Health and Leadership at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pa. The Institute continues the legacy of advancing women in medicine that began in 1850 with the founding of the Female Medical College of Pennsylvania, the nation's first women's medical school and a predecessor of today's Drexel University College of Medicine.
