POSTDOC SOCIETY

If you are new to Drexel's postdoc community, we highly encourage you to join the Postdoc Society on Microsoft Teams. It provides a platform for you to introduce yourself, engage with fellow postdocs, find valuable resources and foster connections within the community.

Safety

If you feel that you may be in serious danger or you have a medical emergency, we encourage you to please call 911.

Drexel University Police will respond to incidents at the Center City Campus in coordination with Philadelphia Police. Security services for the Center City Campus buildings are provided by Allied Universal, a contracted security partner.

For emergencies, use 215.895.2222 (Drexel Dispatch Center) or 911 or use the Drexel Guardian App for a direct connect to the Drexel Dispatch Center.

Drexel Parent Group

Drexel University is committed to supporting parents with resources to help you navigate the exciting milestone of welcoming a new child into your life, as well as to be there through uncharted territory such as working and raising kids during a pandemic. Drexel Parents is an informal group of Drexel employees who share advice and provide moral support for each other as working (and expecting) parents. The group occasionally meets in person for brown-bag lunches, which have been converted during the pandemic to virtual gatherings via Zoom. Drexel Parents is open to any faculty or professional staff member. You can join the group in Microsoft Teams (log in to Office365, select Teams, and search "Drexel Parents" via the "Join or create a team" field), and if you would like to be added to the email listserv, please email Irene Tsikitas Lin at iet23@drexel.edu.
