Oracle Patching - Banner, Web Financials, Reporting and Drexel Connect Outage

A planned outage has been scheduled for Administrative Systems at all locations from Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 6:00 AM until Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 12:00 PM. Due to critical system maintenance, all Administrative systems including Banner, Web Financials, Drexel Connect and Reporting systems will be unavailable Sunday May 15, 2022 from 6 am -12 pm.

Campus Phone System

Monday, May 9, 2022 - 11:30 AM

Campus Phone System (Avaya-Nortel) was restored to regular operation for all locations on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 4:00 PM. Update 5:00PM: Campus Phone Service has been fully restored to service. If you are experiencing any trouble please contact the Network Operations Center on 215-895-6666 or email Update 3:00PM: Incoming phone service was restored for all of campus. Outgoing calling is still partially unavailable. (Outgoing calls are available for phones with 215-267 and 215-762 numbers.) Update 2:00PM: Incoming Phone service for Drexel Public Safety Dispatch 215-895-2222 and 215-895-2822 has been restored to service. The Drexel Campus Phone System (Nortel/Avaya) is experiencing a problem initiating or receiving calls from the public telephone network (i.e. off-campus) due to a problem with local telephone company service. The problem has been reported to the campus telephone company who is working to resolve the problem.

Informational VPN.Drexel.Edu (not service impacting)

Monday, May 9, 2022 - 6:00 AM was restored to regular operation for all locations on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 6:05 AM. Maintenance will be performed on the Drexel VPN (, to improve security and performance. Because of the redundant nature of the VPN, some small packet loss might occur during the maintenance (that could impact stateful tcp connections); however, it is not anticipated that VPN client connections will be dropped. If a client connection is dropped, simply re-connect.

Starrez Outage

Wednesday, May 4, 2022 - 8:00 AM

A planned outage has been scheduled for StarRez at all locations from Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 8:00 AM until Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 8:00 AM. Due to the cloud migration project, Starrez will be unavailable from 8AM on Wednesday, May 4, to 8AM on Thursday, May 5.

Onbase Outage

Onbase was restored to regular operation for all locations on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 8:30:05 AM. Due to system maintenance, the Onbase system will be unavailable on Sunday May 1st from 8AM to 9:30AM.
