ISP Service on Legacy Salus Campus Networks was restored to regular operation for Elkins Park Campus on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 6:10 AM. During this time, Networking will perform maintenance that will briefly interrupt Internet access to legacy Salus networks on the Elkins Park campus, including TEI/POC. The expected outage is less than five minutes. New Drexel networks deployed at Elkins Park will not be impacted. During this maintenance window, legacy equipment that is no longer supported by the manufacturer will be removed from service. This is an informational message shared out of an abundance of caution.

Short interruption to outbound telephone calling for some phones connected to the legacy PBX

Monday, May 18, 2026 - 3:45 PM

Telephone Service was restored to regular operation for all locations on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 5:15 PM. The campus legacy PBX experienced a service interruption today (5/18) that prevented digital (non-VOIP) Avaya/Nortel phones from completing outgoing calls to the public telephone network. The issue occurred from approximately 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM. This represents roughly half of the phones connected to the legacy PBX. VOIP phones connected to the legacy system were not impacted. *** During this period, attempts to place calls to 10-digit telephone numbers from affected phones resulted in a fast busy signal. Incoming calls were not impacted. Calls on the Vonge Phone System (VBC) were also not impacted. *** The interruption was caused by our telephone carrier, Lumen Technologies (previously Level3 and CenturyLink), while performing on-campus maintenance.

Oracle Patching - Banner, Web Financials, Portal and Reporting Systems Outage

A planned outage has been scheduled for Oracle databases at All Drexel University Locations from Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 6:00 AM until Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Due to server maintenance for Oracle quarterly patching, all administrative systems including Banner, Web Financials, Portal, Reporting and third party systems will be unavailable Sunday 5/17/2026 from 6 am - 12 pm.

Onbase (Prod) Upgrade

Monday, May 11, 2026 - 4:00 PM

Onbase was restored to regular operation for all locations on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 12:24 AM. Onbase (Prod) will be unavailable during this time due to a scheduled upgrade.
