Internet was restored to regular operation for all locations on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 1:00 AM. Informational notice: One of the university’s Internet service providers has notified us of emergency maintenance during the early-morning maintenance window. This provider carries approximately 10% of university traffic, which will be shifted to another carrier during the work. Internet2, which carries the majority of university traffic, is not affected.

Drexel Learn Planned Outage

Wednesday, October 7, 2026 - 11:00 PM

A planned outage has been scheduled for Blackboard Learn at all locations from Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 11:00 PM until Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 1:00 AM. The Drexel Learn system will be down for two hours for scheduled maintenance.

Brief Interruption to University VoIP Telephone Service

Sunday, September 20, 2026 - 6:00 AM

A planned outage has been scheduled for Legacy PBX / VoIP Telephone Service at Various Locations from Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 6:00 AM until Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 8:00 AM.

There may be one or more short interruptions of Legacy PBX / VoIP Telephone Service during the scheduled period. This impacts only Avaya or Nortel branded black and silver network connected campus telephones.

Vonage Telephone service is not impacted. Non-network connected legacy PBX phones are not impacted.

Voice mail will continue to receive and record calls during the interruption.
