This work should not be user visible due to the high availability (active/stand-by) configuration deployed.

The ongoing problem with Amazon Web Services has impacted Blackboard Learn, which relies on the services. At 2:30 PM EDT, AWS reported that service was improving.
AWS is updating its own status page approximately once an hour at https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status for the public to follow their recovery efforts.
Canvas down due to AWS incident

Drexel's high speed, high performance (100G), Internet2™ access will be interrupted during the maintenance window. Traffic will be carried over Drexel's primary and secondary Internet Providers during this time.
Vonage Telephone System Voice Services

Vonage Phone Service was restored to regular operation for all locations on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 5:20 PM. Intermittent Inbound & Outbound Call Completion Problems.
Vonage Customers are experiencing problems receiving and making calls to the public telephone network (calls outside of the Vonage system).

Vonage reports that their engineers and support teams have identified the problem and are currently repairing the technical issue.
