Senior Series: Next Steps- From Reflection to Visibility, Connection, and Confidence

Led by Dr. Pia Scott-Boston, this seminar helps emerging professionals thoughtfully transition from academic preparation to the next stage of professional development. The session will encourage participants to reflect on where they are now, identify where they want to go, and develop practical strategies for navigating the transition with greater confidence.
   
   Dr. Pia Scott-Boston, LPC, ACS, NCC, is an educator, clinician, counselor supervisor, and scholar whose work reflects a deep commitment to developing effective, ethical, and culturally responsive counseling professionals. She holds an Ed.D. in Education from Drexel University and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Mercer University.
   
   As a presenter, Dr. Scott-Boston is passionate about engaging emerging professionals in meaningful conversations that connect research, professional practice, and personal development. Her approach emphasizes critical reflection, cultural humility, ethical practice, and practitioner wellness. Through her teaching and scholarship, she seeks to equip future counselors with the knowledge, skills, and professional identity needed to serve diverse communities with competence, compassion, and integrity.
