The Graduate College is pleased to welcome Drexel alum, Brian Leung, PhD, for a FREE and open virtual office hour for Drexel graduate students applying for competitive fellowships/grants, such as NSF GRFP, Fulbright, NIH F Series NRSA, and postdoctoral, as part of their academic and research journey.

We encourage you to bring a sample of your writing, such as your personal statement, or any questions you may have about the application and review process. We can also discuss utilizing application systems, such as COEUS, ERA Commons and ASSIST.

Bio: Brian Leung is a former neuroscientist and immunologist and is currently working on directing international projects related to global environmental change programs around Climate, Environment, and Health. His current role as an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Science Foundation is to directs a funding call and capacity building program through an intergovernmental funding organization called the Belmont Forum as a member of their secretariat. In addition to his role at NSF, he is one of the NSF liaisons for an Interagency international coordination team at the US Global Change research program, where he co-coordinates an interagency team to implement the executive order tasked by the Biden-Harris Administration to address climate change adaptation and resilience in the Latin American and Caribbean Region. Brian’s long-term goal is to participate in the Science Diplomatic arena to engage countries to develop and advance science, technology, and innovation policies for the better of society through global cooperation.
