Chemical Inventory Management
Welcome to the Drexel University’s chemical inventory management platform. The Department of Environmental Health and Radiation Safety (EHRS) uses the BioRAFT chemical inventory management module called ChemTracker, which provides a method for tracking chemical inventory with connection to a centralized chemical database, complete with hazard and regulation data.
The chemical inventory module provides the following important features:
- Electronic inventory can be accessed at any time through BioRAFT.
- Researchers can manage volumes and storage locations.
- Researchers can access the system to remove chemicals that have been disposed from the lab. Keeping the inventory accurate.
- Utilizes a database that provides essential hazard details for all the chemicals in the database.
- Direct links to safety data sheets.
- Can assist with excessive ordering since inventory is keep current.
- An easy workflow to reconcile the annual inventory.
- Regulatory reporting for EHRS.
The purpose of the ChemTracker module is to assist supervisors in maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies and to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
