Vice President and Operations Leader, B&IA Pennsylvania and Delaware at Jacobs

 

Stan Niemczak serves as Vice President and Operations Leader for the Buildings & Infrastructure Americas Division of Jacobs in Pennsylvania and Delaware. In his role, Stan provides inspirational leadership, establishes the vision and strategic direction of the business unit, and leads the Jacobs brand in the marketplace. He is responsible for the operational and financial performance of a performance unit that includes almost 400 professionals in the Built Environment, Transportation, and Water Markets. Stan partners with the Sales Team to grow and expand the business. He works closely with the Talent Acquisition Team on recruiting and hiring of talent, talent retention, and promotion of Inclusion and Diversity. He also collaborates with Legal, Quality, and Safety Teams to ensure proper risk mitigation measures are in in place throughout the project lifecycle and operating effectively. Stan is the local Executive Sponsor of the Careers, Harambee, OneWorld, Prism, and Women’s Employee Networks.

Stan joined Jacobs in 2000 after spending five years with the City of Philadelphia. His prior roles at Jacobs included Project Engineer, Project Manager, Principal-in-Charge, and Group Leader.

Stan serves on the Board for the March of Dimes Annual Transportation, Building and Construction (TB&C) Awards Luncheon and an active member of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia. He has also been active in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), Advancing Women in Transportation (WTS), and Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO). Stan is a Past President of the Intelligent Transportation Society of Pennsylvania.

In addition to his Drexel degree, he received a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Villanova University in 1997.
