Dr. Kapil Dandekar, Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, has been appointed to the new position of Associate Dean of Enrollment and Graduate Education for the Drexel University College of Engineering.
In her announcement of the appointment, Dean Sharon Walker noted that, "in an effort to streamline all enrollment efforts [for the college] under one team," Dr. Dandekar will "oversee undergraduate, graduate and international enrollment efforts, develop strategies to address the collective efforts of staff across the College and with EMSS [Enrollment Management and Student Services], and coordinate with the communications team and academic units to ensure the effectiveness of our recruitment initiatives."
Prior to this new appointment, Dr. Dandekar served as COE's Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies.
