May Receives 2017 Provost Award for Outstanding Scholarly Productivity

May with his Provost Award for Outstanding Scholarly ProductivityAssociate Professor Steven May is a recipient of the 2017 Provost Award for Outstanding Scholarly Productivity, Early Career, which recognizes up to three faculty members (one in Art, one in Science and one in Industry) who have demonstrated unusual excellence in their scholarly field and who are considered emerging leaders in these fields. This award is presented to a tenured faculty member who has worked in the field beyond their terminal degree for less than 9 years and has been employed at Drexel for a minimum of two years.

May and other recipients of the university’s highest awards for scholarship were honored, along with fellow awardees in teaching, and service, at the annual Faculty Recognition Dinner on Wednesday, May 24 in Behrakis Grand Hall.
