CoE Wins 2016-2017 Provost's Awards

The 2016-2017 Provost's Awards for Teaching, Scholarship, and Professional Service have been announced and College of Engineering faculty and staff have been recognized in three categories.


Harold Myers Award for Distinguished Service

Leroy A. Brothers Professor, Educational Research & Development

The Harold Myers Award for Distinguished Service is given to an administrator, member of the professional staff, or full-time or part-time faculty member who has engaged in service work that has been recognized to be truly significant to the University.


Provost Award for Outstanding Early-Career Scholarly Productivity

Steven May, PhD
Associate Professor, Materials Science and Engineering

The purpose of this award is to recognize faculty who have demonstrated unusual excellence in their scholarly field and who are considered emerging leaders in these fields.


Exemplary Academic Advising Award

Emily Bogunovich, MA
Assistant Director for Special Programs

Drexel's Academic Advising Award recognizes the extraordinary contributions of advisors who guide student progress through their academic paths across the University. The awardee is selected on the basis of qualities and practices that distinguish the nominee as an outstanding academic advisor.
