Drexel Materials Distinguished University and Bach Professor Yury Gogotsi is the 2017 recipient of the Energy Storage Materials Award given by the journal Energy Storage Materials.
This award gives special recognition for outstanding achievements in energy storage materials and devices. Gogotsi is recognized as a leader in materials for electrocapacitors. He has authored over 500 refereed journal papers and has more than 60 patents issued or files. He has an H index of 109 according to Google Scholar.
The award was presented to Gogotsi at the 2017 International Conference on Energy Storage Materials which took place in Shenzhen, China November 18 – 21 2017.
