Pomerantseva Energy Technologies Award

Assistant Professor Ekaterina Pomerantseva is the 2016 recipient of the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) Energy Technologies Award, presented for notable and outstanding research in the field of smart energy technologies. The prize is awarded on the basis of contributions made through work done during the five years preceding the year of the prize. Pomerantseva received her award at the American Advanced Materials Congress, a six-day international event organized by IAAM with the collaboration of VBRI Press AB and Scrivener Publishing LLC, USA, and gave an invited talk entitled “Chemical Pre-Intercalation: a Versatile Materials Synthesis Approach for Battery Electrodes." The goal of congress is to provide a global platform for researchers and engineers coming from academia and industry to present their research results and activities in the field of advanced materials and technology.
