Ph.D. student Kristy Jost (advisor:  Yury Gogotsi) has gained press for her research in fabric supercapacitors. 

Jost’s goal is to create a lightweight, visually appealing, supercapacitor that can be woven seamlessly into clothing for a variety of applications.  For her achievements in research, Jost was selected to participate in the 63rd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting held from June 30 to July 5, 2013 in Lindau, Germany with a focus on Chemistry and Chemistry-related fields.
