Undergraduate Advising
Drexel Advising is a dedicated resource to our students throughout the journey to graduation. Our dedicated advisors work with every one of our students to promote academic growth and success at the College and the larger Drexel Community.
At Drexel Academic Advising is a collaborative effort. You will take an active role in academic planning, with an assigned advisor, so that you can make the most of your whole experience.
Advisors will help you with designing plans of study, scheduling classes, transferring credits to Drexel, personal support and can explain university policy and procedures. Our staff can also play a key role in aiding our first-year and transfer students with adjusting to the university – including teaching the UNIV E101 course designed to help get to know Drexel, which incoming students take during their first quarter on campus.
In addition to Academic Advising, you also have access to the Academic Center for Engineers (ACE). ACE is a student-to-student tutoring center that supports all of your core engineering and introductory subjects, including MATH, CHEM, and PHYS. If you’re looking for help with a challenging course, ACE is a great place to get free, accessible support from fellow students who’ve been there.
ACE is part of a broader support initiative called the McGonigle Academic Resource Center (ARC), located in the Korman Center. The ARC also houses other free academic support services, including academic coaching, the Math Resource Center, the Sciences Support Center, and the Drexel Writing Center.
Current students can visit Advising in Student Resources for more information, including a list of advising assignments.
