Biography

Mike Scheuermann, PhD, is the Course Developer and Subject Matter Expert for EGMT 581: Human Relations and Organizational Behavior. He has been facilitating online graduate-level courses for 15 years. His various courses have been offered by Drexel’s College of Engineering, College of Business, School of Education, and, most recently, the College of Medicine. In addition to human relations, his online courses focus on leadership, organizational behavior, management, and supervision. 

At Drexel, Mike works full time in its central IT department and held a joint appointment with the Provost’s Office from 2012 through 2014. In IT, he is the Associate Vice President for Instructional Technology Support. His ITS department includes sub-groups that focus on  instructional technology and collaboration as well as client services. In his joint appointment, Mike was the Executive Director of the Online Learning Council where its 100+ members focused on quality, accessibility, retention, scalability, student support and engagement, as well as communication across all learning modalities. Before coming to Drexel, Dr. Scheuermann’s prior career was in the transportation industry.
