Biography

Dr. Pourrezaei, along with Dr. David Luzzi of the University of Pennsylvania, recently received a $10.5 million grant to establish a regional Nanotechnology Center. The proposal was submitted to the Pennsylvania Technology Investment Authority in collaboration with Dr. Barry Stein of the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Dr. Pourrezaei, in collaboration with Dr. Banu Onaral and Dr. Ata Akin, have received a $1.3 million research contract utilizing near infrared (NIR) technology to monitor the brain's cognitive activities.
