Biography

Chad Morris is the Director of Research Development for the College of Engineering at Drexel University. He earned his undergraduate degree in Anthropology and in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Delaware prior to joining Drexel in 2005. Chad started his career in higher education administration in admissions, eventually working his way to research development and administration by way of graduate student advising in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. During his tenure at Drexel he also earned his M.S. in Library and Information Science, one of US News & World Report’s top 10 programs in the country for many years running. In his current position Chad supports the research enterprise of the college and serves as the liaison between the college and the many units at the university that handle research-related affairs. He also strives to facilitate transdisciplinary research collaborations across department, college, and institutional boundaries and support new and ongoing research business development activities with government, industry, and foundation research sponsors.
