Biography
Dr. Euisun Kim is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics at Drexel University. She joined the department in 2021. Before Drexel, she was a postdoctoral fellow at Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing(CEISMC) at Georgia Tech, where she conducted engineering education research on bio-inspired design engineering education. Her Ph.D. work at Georgia Tech was on understanding the neurological mechanism of a rehabilitation therapy for upper limb hemiparesis. She studied robotic rehabilitation systems that can perform a therapy intervention.
