Biography
Laura Hart is an accomplished systems engineer and recognized expert in Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with over 30 years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry. She currently serves as a Lockheed Martin Technical Fellow, focusing on leading and shaping digital engineering practices for the broader government and industry community. Laura actively contributes to various standards organizations and working groups, such as OMG, NDIA, and INCOSE. Her expertise spans the entire program lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on system architecture, requirements engineering, analysis, and verification using SysML, UAF, and UPDM. As an adjunct professor at Drexel University, Laura brings her extensive industry experience and passion for MBSE to the classroom, preparing the next generation of systems engineers. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from San Jacinto Jr. College.
