International Student Financing Resources

Since international students who wish to study in the United States are not eligible for federal financial aid from the U.S. Department of Education, it's important to research additional sources of funding. Here are a few resources to get you started.

EduPASS! The SmartStudent Guide to Studying in the USA

EduPASS! The SmartStudent Guide to Studying in the USA is a guide for international students interested in studying and living in the United States. It covers a wide range of topics, from college admissions and financial aid to culture shock and clothing sizes.

Funding for U.S. Study

Funding for U.S. Study is an extensive database of scholarships, fellowships, and grants maintained by the Institute of International Education. The database includes funding programs for all levels of postsecondary study across the full range of academic areas. You can select funding based on the location in the United States you would like to study.

International Education Financial Aid

International Education Financial Aid is the premier resource for financial aid information for U.S. and international students wishing to study abroad. You can search by country, field of study, and type of funding (scholarship, grant, loan, tuition waiver, fellowships, etc.).
