Bio

In her early career, Dr. Ekaterina Fedorova was involved as a clinical psychologist and researcher in HIV prevention longitudinal cohort studies among people who inject opioids in St. Petersburg, Russia. Her current research focus is medical cannabis use and other substance use within a context of developmental changes, major life and historic events.

She is a Co-Investigator on a registry study of medical cannabis patients in Pennsylvania and longitudinal cohort (2013-2029) of young adults in Los Angeles who use cannabis medically and recreationally (www.chayala.org).

She is a Principal Investigator on the Pennsylvania State Epidemiological Outcomes Workgroup (PA State Epidemiological Outcomes Workgroup Publications) that leads efforts to utilize data on substance use and mental health for informing relevant stakeholders and decision-makers.
