Michelle Rogers, PhD, an associate professor and director of the Women in Tech Initiative at Drexel's College of Computing & Informatics (CCI), was recently featured on Drexel’s 10,000 Hours podcast “When Health Gets High-Tech” episode. Rogers discussed her background, and how advances in technology are helping our healthcare system and where we still have room for improvement.
Named after the popular Malcolm Gladwell concept that it takes 10,000 hours of practice to gain expertise, the series aims to give Drexel University faculty an informal, non-academic platform to discuss their life stories, career journeys, inspirations and research. The series, which launched in June 2018, is produced by Drexel University Online. The series is hosted by Maurice Baynard, a research scientist, educator, ed-tech entrepreneur and former Drexel instructor.
