A talk by Brian Stuart, PhD, CCI Associate Teaching Professor of Computer Science
Developed at the University of Illinois during the 1960s and '70s, the PLATO system was a major research project in Computer Aided Instruction. In this talk, Dr. Stuart will discuss a number of the innovations created as part of the project as well as its lasting influence on today's connected world.

CS Education Week is an annual call to action to inspire K-12 students to learn computer science, advocate for equity, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners to the field.
