Drexel Society of Women Engineers' Third Annual Lives and Lessons of the Underrepresented in STEM
Saturday, November 3, 2018
11:30 AM-4:30 PM
The 3rd Lives and Lessons of The Underrepresented in STEM event will continue to raise awareness of some of the challenges faced by underrepresented minorities in the STEM field. Hear from panelists about learning and working in a field that commonly discriminates those who differ from the norm. The conversations may be as challenging as they are constructive, but
Drexel SWE hopes, and strongly believes, that all attendees will become more engaged members of the STEM community. Attendees will leave with newfound knowledge and compassion, a greater awareness of our differences and our privileges, and a stronger voice that will advocate for change and equality.
Students, faculty, professional staff are all welcome!
