Biography
Chad Peiper, PhD, a native of Philadelphia, has over 15 years of experience teaching and integrating IT services and solutions while managing requirements, tasking and personnel. Peiper served as a technical lead and subject matter expert (SME) within the Department of Defense (DoD), and in industry where he collaborated and interfaced with clients, developers, vendors and executive leadership. He previously served as lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois, where he taught and facilitated lectures inclusive of both online and classroom settings. Peiper's other previous teaching engagements include adjunct professor positions at Walden, Strayer and Kaplan Universities.
In addition to specializing in infrastructure and cloud computing, Peiper has worked extensively with blockchain and distributed ledger technology (DLT), and is the inventor of a patent for integrating decentralized cloud storage and personal data stores for users to own and control their personal data.
