Housing Options for Transfer Students
Transfer students may choose from one of the following options:
Fall Term Housing Deposit and Application Deadlines
All full-time transfer students who apply for housing by May 15 will be given priority to a room on campus (Drexel Housing). However, housing is not guaranteed to transfer students. Availability will be determined in June and July. Transfer students should complete both steps for priority consideration:
- Submit the $300 enrollment deposit and $200 housing deposit by May 10.
- Complete the housing application by May 15.
All transfer students who indicate an interest in living on campus by paying a housing deposit and submitting the housing application after these deadlines will be considered on a rolling basis.

The Benefits of Choosing a Residence Hall
The following are benefits of choosing to live in Caneris Hall or Stiles Hall which are operated by Drexel University Housing and Residence Life:
NO cancellation FEES for Co-op & Study Abroad
Housing and Residence Life does not charge cancellation fees due to study abroad, co-op, clinical or rotation opportunities more than 10 miles away from the University City campus.
FLEXIBLE lease agreements
Housing and Residence Life contracts are available in 3, 6, 9 or 12 installments, billed quarterly to the Drexel eBill.
Utilities, cable + laundry INCLUDED
All University Residence Hall contracts include utilities and cable. Laundry facilities are provided at no charge.
Payments via DREXEL eBILL
Housing and Residence Life room charges are applied directly to the student's Drexel eBill, allowing for seamless application of scholarship or financial aid.
