Blake Corcoran, MD, is a board-certified family medicine and sports medicine physician practicing in Philadelphia. He specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and management of sport-related injuries and medical issues. Clinical interests also include sports ultrasound, performing arts medicine and care of the female athlete.

He emphasizes incorporating multiple modalities in the care of his patients, including sports ultrasound, fluoroscopically-guided injections, and osteopathic manipulative techniques (OMT). His research interests include injury epidemiology and prevention, female athlete triad, and clinical ethics. He is the head team physician for Philadelphia University and Lincoln University.

Blake Corcoran, MD, is an assistant professor and associate director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship program at Drexel University College of Medicine.

Before coming to Drexel, he was an instructor in the Department of Family & Preventive Medicine at the University of Utah, where he completed his sports medicine fellowship. At the University of Utah, he cared for NCAA Division I athletes, collegiate dance students, and Olympic athletes. He served as event physician for USSA ski and snowboard grand prix competitions, IBSF para-bobsled and para-skeleton world championships, the Nitro World Games and the Tour of Utah.
