Publications
There’s no given formula for creating an effective publication—it takes the brainpower of a creative yet organized team of writers, editors, designers, photographers, and communication specialists to tap into the curiosities of a particular readership.
Our Publications team does just that by serving as Drexel’s benchmark authority for strategic editorial direction, providing insight into all aspects of publishing, ranging from printing and distribution to design and photography.
In addition to managing special projects such as the Community Impact Report and President’s Report and maintaining the University-wide Editorial Style Guide, our team produces four valuable print and online editorial publications:
DrexelNow is the central news and information website and email newsletters of record for Drexel University staff, faculty, students and families. DrexelNow collects top stories from around the University and delivers important regular announcements and original reporting by the publications team.
Drexel Quarterly is an e-newsletter providing faculty and professional staff with personnel news, professional development opportunities and staff-specific events four times a year.
Drexel Magazine is a magazine for alumni and friends of the University published three times a year (twice in print and once digitally only) and mailed to more than 150,000 readers. Drexel Magazine features captivating human-interest stories, gorgeous photography, and editorial snapshots of life during and after Drexel.
EXEL Magazine is an award-winning annual magazine offering a compelling overview of the University’s fast-growing research enterprise. Through 80-plus pages of high-end photography and design, EXEL Magazine depicts research at Drexel from within pristine, cutting-edge labs to messy, outdoor research expeditions.
Drexel Innovates is an e-newsletter that highlights pathbreaking research, innovation and collaborative projects happening at and around Drexel University.
Drexel Daily News Report is a daily feed compiling noteworthy higher-education news and links to local and national media stories featuring Drexel students, faculty and staff.
