Types of Content
Stories
Features are engaging stories of roughly 300 words or more. Examples include campus and administration changes and updates; profiles on individuals, topics or organizations; faculty and student research; student co-ops and study abroad and service stories to educate Dragons on opportunities and resources available to them.
Announcements
Announcements are short (100-300 words) notifications on urgent topics, such as the availability of free staff flu vaccinations or a major campus road closure. Announcements are typically posted in the "Your News" section of DrexelNow.
Events
All events published in DrexelNow emails are aggregated from the University Events Calendar and therefore must be posted at www.drexel.edu/events. To request an event to be a "featured" event on the calendar's home page, choose "Main Feature" or "Featured" when choosing the categories for the event. If your department is unable to submit an event directly, ask for assistance at now.editor@drexel.edu.
