Philanthropic drug development program seeks to accelerate treatments into human clinical trials.

The Harrington Discovery Institute at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, today issued a transatlantic call for proposals for new treatments, pursuant to its recently announced major initiative to support the global fight against novel Coronavirus and potential future pandemic events. Harrington Discovery Institute (HDI) will provide successful applicants with grant funding and expert guidance and oversight in all aspects of drug/therapeutics development, while taking no rights to intellectual property, which is retained by the award recipient and their institution.

Fast Funding for COVID-19 Science

Science funding mechanisms are too slow in normal times and may be much too slow during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fast Grants are an effort to correct this.

If you are a scientist at an academic institution currently working on a COVID-19 related project and in need of funding, we invite you to apply for a Fast Grant. Fast Grants are $10k to $500k and decisions are made in under 48 hours. If we approve the grant, you'll receive payment as quickly as your university can receive it.
