The new Drexel Medicine website drexelmedicine.org recently won a "Best in Class" award from the Interactive Media Awards (IMA) Competition. The site – launched in August – won in the "Hospital" category.

The "Best in Class" is the highest honor bestowed by the IMA. It represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism. In order to win this award level, website entries have to successfully pass through a comprehensive judging process, achieving very high marks in each of the judging criteria – design, content, feature functionality, usability, and standards compliance & cross-browser compatibility. Only a fraction of sites submitted to in the IMA competition each year earn high marks to qualify for an award.

Drexelmedicine.org puts a lot of information at the fingertips of patients including useful, interactive tools like "Find a Doctor Search," "Symptom Checker," "Personal Stories About Drexel Medicine" and much more.
