Zakaria Hakma, MD, is a cerebrovascular/endovascular neurosurgeon. He is among an elite group of dual-trained vascular neurosurgeons able to perform conventional neurosurgery as well as minimally invasive endovascular neurosurgery.

Following an internship in internal medicine, Dr. Hakma completed residencies in both neurology and neurosurgery at Temple University , where he was chief resident. Dr. Hakma completed a fellowship in cerebrovascular/endovascular neurosurgery and neurocritical care at Capital Health System’s Stroke and Cerebrovascular Center, under the direction of Erol Veznedaroglu, MD, FACS, FAANS, FAHA.
